Who We Are
We are currently accepting application for our Summer Student Volunteer Program for 2025! The deadline to submit your application is May 31st, 2025.
If you're interested in a career in healthcare or enjoy helping others, the experience of volunteering at a hospital is invaluable. As a high school student, being a student volunteer gives you the opportunity to interact with patients and healthcare staff increasing your understanding of careers in healthcare.
You will be expected to attend an orientation and be available for a minimum 40 hours within 8 weeks. Students must be 14 years of age by June 13th, 2025.
What We Do
Clinical and Clerical Opportunities Are Available Including:
- Assist visitors at Guest Services
- Providing support and information in Surgery Waiting Room
- Transporting patients through the hospital
- Delivering coffee and snacks to patients, guests and staff
- Performing maintenance on hospital equipment
- Flower delivery
- Working in the hospital gift shop
- Assisting medical units
