Who We Are

Pediatric Cuddlers are caring individuals who donate their time to pediatric patients. Volunteers to hold, comfort and sometimes play with patients. Each little one who needs time and attention will vary in age, developmental functioning, and some have debilitating medical conditions. Cuddlers will receive information from nursing staff to get an idea of each patient's needs. All pediatric volunteers must be interviewed for the NICU Cuddler program, accepted into the program, and go through the NICU training before spending time with pediatric patients.

What We Do

Hello, NICU Cuddlers. We often have pediatric patients who need some love and attention. This is not always the case, so we cannot provide a schedule for volunteers to sign up for shifts in peds. Instead, call the nurse's station at 406-237-7450 to find out what the needs are. There is no formal process or time slots for this opportunity, it is as needed opportunity. Just check with nursing staff to get details about the best times to spend time on the unit, as times can vary case by case. Thank you for all you do for our little ones and the staff who care for them.
